Onward To 2019

Well hello there! It’s been a few months since I’ve used this blog, but I quickly wanted to share some quick thoughts on 2018 and what there is to look forward to in 2019 in terms of content. In 2018, I managed to complete 5 Let’s Plays: Snipperclips Plus, Donkey Kong Country Trilogy, Pokémon White 2, Kirby: Planet Robobot and New Super Mario Bros. and overall I was satisfied with how they turned out.

2018 also saw the launch of a few other series in what I now refer to as “Side Plays” and they were Mario Party: Star Rush and Backyard Baseball, which was particularly a big deal for me cause I grew up with it on my big ol’ box PC. Unfortunately, both of those series will be carrying over into 2019, although it’s not too big of a deal in the case of Backyard Baseball since that didn’t start until the back half of the year.

But that’s 2018, which was so yesterday (literally), so let’s talk about 2019! The first order of business is the reboot for a former series known as “Demo Showcase”, which is pretty self-explanatory; however, this reboot has a twist. After I play each demo of whatever game, I plan on ranking my chances of buying the full version of the game on a scale (called the Buy-o-Meter 3000) from never to totally. I felt starting the new year with this reboot, which has been in the works for a few months, would be appropriate. That now makes 2 new year's in a row with the launch of something… new tradition?

I’m not going to reveal too much about the Let’s Plays that will be coming this year, but I will provide several clues to end off this blog which you should see below this sentence. Thanks for all of your support throughout 2018 and here’s to 2019 and beyond!

Clues:

• A giant step forward for a series

• A story years in the making

• A thrilling entry into a familiar series

• A tale that predates many

If you can guess what these are, tweet them to me @TheJamesRolls
